Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Graham County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
