Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in San Juan County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
