Earthmoving equipment operator — Columbia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Columbia County, Georgia. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
