Van driver wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a van driver in Monroe County, Illinois. You will be based at a school transport service. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a medical and eyesight test • Clean driving record with no major endorsements • Able to pass police verification and a background check Day-to-day duties: • Make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off • Follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable • Report mechanical faults and dents to the depot office • Refuel the vehicle and keep the fuel receipts • Check the first-aid kit and fire extinguisher on board • Check engine oil, coolant and washer fluid levels before each shift Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
