Stainless steel welder • Crawford County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Crawford County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
