Press operator — Lake County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press operator in Lake County, California. You will work on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time with occasional weekends.
