Plasterer's mate wanted in Municipal Area Council

Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. You will be based in a refurbishment property. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one The role involves: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge 4+ years on the tools preferred.
