Steel fixer • De Baca County, New Mexico

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in De Baca County, New Mexico. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder.
