Vacancy available: press operator (Scotland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; record output and downtime on the production sheet; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
