Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Volusia County, Florida. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Full-time with occasional weekends.
