Tyre and wheel fitter wanted in Kennebec County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Kennebec County, Maine. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. Day-to-day duties: • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
