Great opportunity: site carpenter (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Stockton-on-Tees, England. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain.
