Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Custer County, South Dakota. You will work at a roadside mobile fitting unit. On a typical shift you will check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies. You should have: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer 1+ years on the tools preferred.
