Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Norfolk, England. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding.
