Join our team: we are hiring a horticulturist in Borough of Rochdale, England. On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
