Vacancy available: brick mason (Tennessee)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Grainger County, Tennessee. You will be based on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
