Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Gallatin County, Illinois. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal.
