Aluminium fitter • Borough of Torbay, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Borough of Torbay, England. You will be based on a residential building site. You will crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site. Requirements: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill 4+ years on the tools preferred.
