Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Broome County, New York. Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
