Steel erection rigger — Indiana County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a busy construction site. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
