Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Traverse County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Traverse County, Minnesota. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 2+ years on the tools preferred.
