Heavy equipment operator wanted in Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Washington County, Iowa. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Your main tasks: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
