Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Elmore County, Alabama. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred.
