Industrial sewing operator wanted in Newport

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Newport, Wales. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
