Tyre fitter — Preble County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Preble County, Ohio. Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
