Rough terrain crane operator — Rockland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Rockland County, New York. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift 5+ years on the tools preferred.
