Safety inspector wanted in Sullivan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Sullivan County, Indiana. You will work in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
