Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Berkeley County, South Carolina. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits Performance bonus on top of base pay.
