Cnc lathe setter • Borough of Stockport, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Borough of Stockport, England. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. You will deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
