Steam press operator — Ashtabula County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Ashtabula County, Ohio. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
