Tree and shrub pruner • Sullivan County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Sullivan County, New York. You will be based at a plant nursery. Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
