Paint and prep technician • Conecuh County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Conecuh County, Alabama. You will be based in a spray booth. Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending Full-time with occasional weekends.
