Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in San Mateo County, California. The job is at an auto components factory. On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
