Stainless steel welder • Humphreys County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Humphreys County, Tennessee. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
