You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Day to day you will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting.
