Pleated screen fitter — City and Borough of Salford

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pleated screen fitter in City and Borough of Salford, England. What we are looking for: • Good eye for accurate window and door measurements • Physically fit for carrying frames and working on-site all day The role involves: • Measure window and door openings on site for made-to-measure screens • Install retractable roller screens into cassette housings • Clean and service existing screens, replacing worn rollers and springs • Fit magnetic strips to hinged and door screens for a self-closing seal • Assemble frame corners with plastic corner keys or rivets • Cut aluminium screen frame profiles to size with a mitre saw A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
