Security officer wanted in City of Norfolk

Vacancy available: we are hiring a security officer in City of Norfolk, Virginia. The job is in a corporate office building. Day-to-day duties: • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area Requirements: • Height and weight as per security norms • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
