Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Brown County, Texas. The role involves rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
