Immediate opening: we are hiring a fry cook in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will be based at a fast-food outlet. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Day-to-day duties: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha 3+ years on the tools preferred.
