On a typical shift you will nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Part-time with flexible hours.
