Acoustic insulation fitter — Mahnomen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy building site. Day-to-day duties: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
