Appliance service engineer — Stoke-on-Trent

Vacancy available: we are hiring an appliance service engineer in Stoke-on-Trent, England. You will be based in a rental property between tenancies. Requirements: • F-Gas certification for refrigerant handling • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations • Comfortable working alone at customers' homes Your main tasks: • Strip down and rebuild appliance motors, pumps and compressors • Order replacement parts from spare parts catalogues and suppliers • Diagnose faults in washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, fridges and ovens using multimeters and manufacturer fault codes • Lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
