Safety officer — Nye County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Nye County, Nevada. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
