Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Waseca County, Minnesota. You will work in a glazing and curtain wall company. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing Ideal candidate: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
