Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Estill County

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Estill County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Six days a week, one day off.
