Concrete finisher wanted in City of Buena Vista

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work on a building construction site. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
