Crawler crane operator — Lavaca County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Lavaca County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,250 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
