Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ocean County, New Jersey. You will work at a container port. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
