Industrial electrician • City of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial electrician in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will be based in a factory maintenance department. Ideal candidate: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate The role involves: • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
