Lift maintenance fitter — Benton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Benton County, Iowa. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience.
